Hello everyone, I am not sure when I will have internet again for the next 6-7 days....boo! hiss! I know, I know! So I figure I will get a post in now while I can.
It is currently 3:19 am here at Stansted airport on the outskirts of London. We have been here for awhile, waiting to check in to our flight to Munich which leaves at 6:55 am, London time.
After a long day that was rather stressful, sleep and nourishment deprived, and, well, long, the airport was actually a nice place to be. We grabbed some food and got some sleep. I bought some internet and got online and that was a nice boost of spirits to receive some emails from people back home and see someone smiling at you for once in the day on skype. Smiles did not seem to be afoot in London today.
On another note we have made a change of plans due to not wanting to spend large sums of money on multiple train rides, so we are not going to Vienna, but instead staying in Munich a little longer and making a day trip south to Salzburg where we may meet a few of or SJU brethren. Then we will be going to Prague, directly from Munich for a few days and then flying to Dublin. I am excited to get to Ireland, I long for the countryside and the rolling hills....cheesy I know, but the relaxing atmosphere of rural life is enticing at the moment.
Anyway, thanks much to those of you whom I talked to on skype, facebook, and thorough email today for making our Stansted airport stay go a little better and for brightening my day, you know who you are! ;)
