Well, it is Tuesday, September 1st, 2009 and I fly out of MSP at 9:25 tonight. Wow....Wow, wow wow! I am excited! After a fun and work filled summer that I really enjoyed, I am about to ship out and it feels strange and amazing at the same time! I am not going to lie, I am nervous, but it is definitely a good nervous! A slightly giddy feeling accompanies the nervousness too.
I am meeting Thomas and Jimmy at the Northwest Airlines check-in at at 7 o'clock pm and then we are off through security and into the airport... I am mostly packed and ready to go, I just have a few more things to load into my brother's giant backpack and I should be golden and ready to cruise.
I am only taking a 70 liter hiking pack (it is big) and an over the shoulder messenger style bag so I have packed light. The pack weighs in at around 35 pounds and the over the shoulder at about 15 so I guess I did pack fairly light. I'd take a picture of them but my camera is packed away, so I'll leave you with your imaginations!
Well I think it might be time for me to get out of bed and start getting ready, so have a great day everyone, I'll be thinking of you and missing you!
